Pilots – Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Pilots (the “App”) handles user and device data. Pilots is a single‑player puzzle/logic driving game built with Expo and React Native. We do not sell user data and we do not use the App to build advertising profiles.
Data we collect
- Gameplay data (on device only): The App stores game statistics such as wins/losses, level history, per-level seeds, and in-game steps. This data stays on your device in local storage (AsyncStorage). It is not transmitted to our servers.
- Settings: Theme preference and gameplay options are saved locally on your device.
Data we do not collect
- We do not collect personal identifiers (such as name, email, phone number).
- We do not collect location data.
- We do not collect device identifiers for tracking.
- We do not collect contact lists, SMS, call logs, photos, audio, or other personal content.
- We do not use analytics SDKs or ad SDKs.
Ads
- The App does not display ads and does not include third-party ad SDKs.
Permissions
- The App does not request high-risk or sensitive Android permissions (e.g., SMS, Call Log). It uses only standard permissions required for core app functionality.
Data sharing
- We do not share data with third parties.
- No gameplay or settings data leaves your device unless you manually export or share it.
Children
- Pilots is suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information should contact us to request deletion.
Security
- Local data is stored using platform-provided storage (AsyncStorage). Protect your device with appropriate security measures (such as a device passcode) to prevent unauthorized access.
Retention and control
- Gameplay stats and settings remain on your device until you uninstall the App or clear the App’s data/storage. Uninstalling removes locally stored data.
International use
- Because data stays on your device, no international data transfers occur unless you independently back up or sync your device.
Updates to this policy
- We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
